The Living Vine Announces Grand Opening of New Blessingdales Thrift Store in Savannah on July 15

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Rezul -- (SAVANNAH, Ga.) The Living Vine will celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its newest Blessingdales Thrift Store location on Wednesday, July 15, at 11 a.m. at 10010 Abercorn St., Savannah, GA 31406, in Picadilly Square.
The new 12,300-square-foot store is located in the former Hancock Fabrics and Tuesday Morning location on 10010 Abercorn St, Savannah and has approximately 45 parking spaces for shoppers and donors.
Community members attending the grand opening are encouraged to bring a pack of diapers to help support mothers and babies served through The Living Vine maternity home program.
Blessingdales Thrift Stores help fund the mission of The Living Vine, a maternity home program dedicated to helping homeless pregnant women and mothers build stable futures through housing, education, life skills training, spiritual growth and workforce development.

"This new location represents more than just a thrift store," said Dawn Rodriquez, Executive Director of The Living Vine. "It represents hope, opportunity and a community coming together to help women and children during some of the most difficult moments in their lives. Every purchase, donation and volunteer effort directly supports the mission of The Living Vine."
The larger Savannah location allows Blessingdales to significantly expand its retail floor space and inventory, including room for up to 16,000 garments displayed at one time.
Keith Copeland, Director of Retail who oversees the Blessingdales thrift store operations and brings more than 30 years of thrift retail experience, said the new location will improve the shopping experience while increasing support for The Living Vine's programs.
"We are excited to offer shoppers a larger, brighter store while continuing to focus on the bigger mission behind everything we do," Copeland said. "The proceeds from Blessingdales help provide housing, support and life-changing opportunities for mothers and babies in crisis."

Blessingdales on Television Circle will stop accepting donations May 18, 2026. The Television Circle store will permanently close June 30 to allow time to finalize preparations for its new location at 10010 Abercorn St., Suite 1. While the Television Circle location is closed during the transition, the Georgetown store will continue adding fresh merchandise to the sales floor daily.
The organization also reminds residents that donations are always needed and can be conveniently dropped off through the drive-through donation area at the new Savannah location on Abercorn starting May 18th . or at the Georgetown location.
