Atlanta area distillery partners with Israel's first single malt whiskey distillery to create historic international collaboration ahead of America's 250th Independence Day

ATLANTA - Rezul -- American and Israeli distillers unveiled the first collaborative whiskey project between the two countries, held Wednesday evening during a reception hosted by Consul General Eitan Weiss, celebrating the enduring friendship between the United States and Israel ahead of America's 250th Independence Day.

Held at the Distillery of Modern Art in Chamblee, the "Shared Values, Shared Spirits" event brought together members and leaders of the political, business, and local communities to celebrate the whiskey collaboration between the Atlanta-area distillery and Tel Aviv's Milk & Honey Distillery, Israel's first award-winning single malt whiskey distillery. Conceived by the Consul General as a way to foster collaboration between Israel and Georgia, the project will consist of producing 250 limited edition bottles combining a blend of the two distilleries and creating the opportunity for commercial distribution in the near future.

"As the United States celebrates its 250th Independence Day, this collaboration is a fitting tribute to the enduring friendship between Israel and the United States," said Consul General Eitan Weiss. "When innovators, entrepreneurs and artisans come together, they create work that reflects the shared values, creativity and spirit of partnership that have long defined the relationship between our two nations."

"Beyond the significance of the collaboration itself, it also highlights the kinds of experiences travelers can engage with in Israel," said Lorin Maugery, Consul-Director for the Israel Ministry of Tourism, Southern Region. "From Tel Aviv's evolving culinary and hospitality scene to guided experiences at producers like Milk & Honey, visitors are discovering a modern Israel shaped by creativity, innovation and hands-on culture."
