"The 2nd Mile" Documentary Series Spotlights The Stories Behind America's Entrepreneurs
Rezul News/10742785
New series from Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Arash Farsi explores the risks, setbacks and defining moments behind entrepreneurial success.
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Rezul -- Behind every successful company is a founder whose story is rarely seen.
The 2nd Mile, a new documentary series created by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Arash Farsi, turns the camera toward the people behind the businesses—exploring the risks, sacrifices, setbacks and breakthroughs that shaped their journeys.
"We see successful companies every day, but rarely do we know what the person behind that company went through to build it," said Farsi, creator and executive producer of The 2nd Mile. "Those are the stories we want to tell."
Produced by 2nd Mile Films, the series brings a cinematic approach to founder storytelling through intimate interviews, on-location filming and the people and places that shaped each entrepreneur.

Farsi is joined by filmmaker Matteo Dill, producer and director on the series. Together, the filmmakers are developing stories across industries including real estate, technology, agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality.
"The company may be what people recognize, but the human journey is where the real story lives," said Dill.
The 2nd Mile is being developed for streaming and OTT distribution and is currently identifying founders and entrepreneurs for upcoming installments.
"We're looking beyond revenue and growth," Farsi said. "We want to understand what it actually took to get there."
