Texas: Governor Abbott, Border Czar Homan, Governors Serve Thanksgiving Meals And Thank Operation Lone Star Service Members

~ In a show of gratitude and support, Governor Greg Abbott and several other state leaders visited the Texas-Mexico border on Thanksgiving Day to serve meals and thank the Texas National Guard soldiers and Department of Public Safety troopers stationed there.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin also expressed his appreciation for Texas' efforts in securing the border and thanked the soldiers for their critical work. He stated that he was proud of the Virginia National Guard's deployment to Eagle Pass and thanked them for answering the call to serve.

The event was also attended by DPS Colonel Freeman Martin and Adjutant General of Texas Major General Thomas Suelzer, who both expressed their gratitude to the soldiers for their service.

Thanks to Operation Lone Star and President Donald Trump's leadership, illegal crossings have decreased by 92% since peaking under the Biden Administration.
