Texas: Governor Abbott Announces Latest Slate Of Appointments

~ This week, Governor Greg Abbott announced his selection of multiple qualified candidates to serve on behalf of Texans in various positions. These appointments include the District Attorney of the 2nd Judicial District in Cherokee County, members of advisory boards, and co-chairs for the Texas Jobs Council.
One of the notable appointments is that of David Broom as District Attorney for the 2nd Judicial District in Cherokee County. Governor Abbott has appointed Broom for a term set to expire on December 31, 2026, or until his successor is elected and qualified.
