Springfield: Driver, passenger killed in a single-vehicle crash

Springfield, Mo. ~ In the early hours of March 29, a tragic single-vehicle crash occurred in Springfield, Missouri. At approximately 2:21 a.m., officers from the Springfield Police Department were called to the scene in front of 1120 S. Glenstone.

According to reports, 19-year-old Isaiah Sanchez and his passenger, 22-year-old Alexis Norman, were traveling northbound on Glenstone in a 1997 Honda CRV when Sanchez lost control of the vehicle. The car ultimately collided with a sign in front of the address mentioned.

Sanchez was rushed to the hospital for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. Norman was pronounced dead at the scene. Both families have been notified of their loved ones' tragic deaths.
