Spokane Police Chief's statement

~ In a recent statement released by the Spokane Police Department, it was announced that two former officers have resigned following internal investigations into allegations of serious misconduct. Sgt. Teresa Fuller, from the department's Public Information Office, confirmed that both officers were found to have engaged in inappropriate relationships with victims of domestic violence while on duty.

According to Fuller, these actions violated departmental policy and betrayed the trust of the community. She also stated that it was a failure to uphold the oath they had sworn as police officers. "This conduct is unacceptable and does not reflect the values or professionalism of the Spokane Police Department," she said.
