Rezul News/10719740
~ Spokane City Mayor Lisa Brown has issued a directive to lower flags at all City facilities to half-staff in honor of former Vice President Richard Cheney. This decision comes after Governor Bob Ferguson's order for state and U.S. flags at all state agency facilities to be lowered as well.

According to Communications Manager Fianna Dickson, Mayor Brown expressed her condolences and recognized Cheney's dedication as a public servant. Cheney served in various roles such as White House Chief of Staff, U.S. Representative of Wyoming, United States Secretary of Defense, and Vice President.
