First Responding Home Inspections brings safety-first expertise, practical insight and local roots to Central Texas home inspections

ROUND ROCK, Texas - Rezul -- After 12 years of serving Georgetown, Texas as a firefighter and engine driver, Ross Black has launched a new venture that continues his commitment to safety and service — but with a new mission: helping Central Texans understand their homes. First Responding Home Inspections is a family-owned company based in Round Rock and serving homeowners across Central Texas.

A licensed Professional Home Inspector (TREC #26543), Black applies his public safety background and attention to detail to help homebuyers and homeowners make confident decisions. His inspections emphasize clarity and education — empowering clients to understand what's behind every observation, not just receive a report.

He offers comprehensive home inspections, elevation measurements, sewer scope inspections, and irrigation/sprinkler evaluations, all designed to deliver clarity, practical next steps, and peace of mind.

"Central Texas has been my home since preschool, and specifically Round Rock for most of my adult life," said Ross Black, owner. "This community shaped who I am, and it's where my family and I have built our lives. I believe that knowledge is a form of protection — whether it's responding to emergencies or helping homeowners feel secure in their investment. My goal is to make every inspection practical, straightforward, and genuinely useful."

Known for their friendly, flexible service, First Responding Home Inspections offers weekend appointments, same-day reports, and a pet-friendly approach to inspections. Their goal is simple: to give Central Texans the information they need to make confident, informed decisions for their families without any hassle.

Committed to Homeowners, Connected to the Community

In addition to reliable, useful home inspections, Black and his family have deep roots in the community.

During his 12 years with the Georgetown Fire Department, he served as a leader for the firefighter's association, including three years as president. Representing firefighters in salary and staffing discussions, the role reflected his leadership, teamwork, and advocacy for others.
