Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach's 72nd annual Daisy Lane Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026, in the Wrigley neighborhood, with a second evening of holiday performances planned for Dec. 14.
The parade will begin at 5 p.m. on Daisy Avenue at West Burnett Street. It will travel south along the avenue, turn around the median at Pacific Coast Highway and head north on the opposite side, ending near West Hill Street and Maine Avenue at about 7 p.m., according to the city's announcement.
The City of Long Beach and the Office of Vice Mayor and Seventh District Councilmember Roberto Uranga are presenting the parade. The Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance is organizing and hosting the Dec. 14 program, scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. on the Daisy Lane median at Daisy Avenue and 20th Street.

Mayor Rex Richardson said the event has brought generations of West Long Beach residents together. Uranga described the parade as a longstanding community tradition and thanked those who have helped sustain it.
Local businesses, nonprofit organizations and community groups can apply to participate by Dec. 1, 2026. The Seventh District Council Office can be reached at 562-570-7777 or district7@longbeach.gov.
The parade began in 1953, when Gertrude Whittle worked with the Long Beach City Council and Council of Churches to decorate the Daisy Avenue median with a Christmas village and nativity scene. The event grew with participation from nearby residents. The city and Seventh Council District now present the parade, which is stewarded by the Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance and Maria Norvell, whom the announcement identifies as one of its original founders.
