Public invited to hear US Senator Lankford as keynote speaker for EOCP's Region on the Rise quarterly luncheon at noon on April 3rd in Choctaw, OK.

Rezul - Mar. 25, 2015 - OKLAHOMA CITY -- US Senator James Lankford is scheduled to speak at "Region on the Rise" luncheon at noon April 3rd in the main building at EOC Tech Center. Hosted by Eastern Oklahoma County Partnership (EOCP). Business leaders, community leaders and locals are invited to attend; free with RSVP.

"We couldn't be more excited to host Senator Lankford," said EOCP executive director Tim Hight. "We're very pleased with his commitment to support our armed forces and to build a better business climate."

Lankford's appearance is a part of an ongoing effort by EOCP to educate the region and provide exposure to key leadership in the areas of job growth and economic development. Lankford's appearance follows a successful luncheon with US Rep Tom Cole in February.

After serving four years in the US House of Representatives, Lankford was elected to the US Senate on November 4, 2014. Lankford serves on the Committee on Appropriations, the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, the Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Indian Affairs Committee.

The EOCP mission is to act as a resource for creating, promoting, and sustaining jobs and investment in Eastern Oklahoma County. Priorities include business attraction, supporting existing business and catalyzing area transportation and infrastructure improvements.
