Producer 9-0 Creates New "Carolinas Remix" for Justin Case RPG Featuring Voices of Song
Rezul News/10744801
La'Nardo Myrick Sr., professionally known as Producer 9-0, puts his production touch on the MRAA-certified "Carolinas," creating a new remix featuring Voices of Song.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Rezul -- Following the recognition of Justin Case Rapping Grandpa's "Carolinas" at the MRAA Bronze — 500K level, producer and music executive La'Nardo Myrick Sr., professionally known as Producer 9-0, is helping take the record into its next chapter with the creation of the new "Carolinas Remix."
The remix is produced by Producer 9-0 and features Voices of Song, bringing a new musical dimension to a record that has already achieved a significant independent milestone.
"When a record already has something special, you don't want to erase what people connected with," said Producer 9-0. "My job with the 'Carolinas Remix' was to respect the foundation Justin created and then build another experience around it. Voices of Song brings another layer that helps us take the record somewhere new."

The collaboration follows the Music Recognition Accolades & Awards Association of America (MRAA) certification of the original "Carolinas" by Justin Case Rapping Grandpa, also known as Justin Case RPG, at the Bronze — 500K level.
Now, "Carolinas Remix" represents evolution. Producer 9-0 approached the project with the idea that a remix should have a reason to exist. Instead of simply adding another verse or making minor changes to the original arrangement, the new production is designed to introduce a distinct atmosphere while preserving the spirit of Justin Case RPG's record. The addition of Voices of Song further expands that vision.
"This is what I enjoy about producing," Myrick said. "You can hear something that already works and still imagine another door that the music can walk through. That's what we're doing with 'Carolinas.' We're opening another door."
MRAA officially recognized "Carolinas" under Certification MRAA-18 for reaching the organization's Bronze — 500K certification level.

"I had the opportunity to recognize Justin's accomplishment through MRAA, but producing the remix is a completely different experience," said Myrick. "Now we get to create together. Recognition celebrates what somebody has accomplished. Collaboration asks, 'What can we build next?'" That question is at the heart of the remix.
The "Carolinas Remix" adds another collaboration to that growing catalog while demonstrating Producer 9-0's philosophy that music can continue evolving after its original release.
The original "Carolinas" has already earned its place in Justin Case RPG's journey. The remix is about where the record can travel next.
