Patented NogginLOC Technology Offers an Innovative Approach to Helmet Fastening
Rezul News/10744969
NogginLOC provides a secure chinstrap fastening system designed for athletes and other helmet users
CHICAGO - Rezul -- NogginLOC, a patented mechanical fastening technology, offers an innovative alternative to traditional helmet chinstrap fastening systems, with a design focused on strength, security, and ease of use.
The concept was developed after its inventor observed helmets repeatedly coming off athletes during college and professional football games. Recognizing the importance of keeping protective headgear securely positioned during play, the inventor developed NogginLOC as a different approach to the traditional helmet connection.
NogginLOC is designed to help keep a chinstrap securely connected to the helmet while allowing the connection to be intentionally released when helmet removal is necessary.
According to information supplied by the inventor, NogginLOC and companion technology FaceLOC were independently tested through the Andrews Research & Education Foundation and tested many times stronger than traditional helmet fastening systems.
More on Rezul News
While the two technologies are related, each serves a distinct purpose. NogginLOC is designed for chinstrap fastening, while FaceLOC is designed for facemask removal.
The technology has potential applications across multiple helmet categories, including football, baseball, lacrosse, hockey, skiing and snowboarding, bull riding, construction, and other activities requiring protective headgear.
The underlying fastening concept may also have applications beyond helmets. Potential uses identified by the inventor include dog leashes and other products requiring a secure connection combined with intentional quick-release functionality.
NogginLOC represents an opportunity for manufacturers and companies interested in innovative fastening and helmet-related technology.
