OTTASIA Launches Free App to Find Where to Stream Bollywood, K-Drama and Asian Movies
Rezul News/10738413
Built almost entirely with AI by a non-technical solo founder, OTTASIA covers 34 markets across Asia and the diaspora, 41,000+ titles and 100+ streaming services, free on web, iPhone and Android.
NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Rezul -- Finding where to legally stream a movie or show across Asia has long meant juggling five or more apps. OTTASIA, a free streaming discovery service, solves that with a single answer: type in any title and see exactly where to watch it in your country.
OTTASIA now covers 34 markets, 30 across Asia from India to Japan and the Gulf to Turkey, plus the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Australia for the Asian diaspora. It spans more than 41,000 titles across over 100 streaming services, including global platforms like Netflix, Prime Video and Apple TV, and regional services such as JioHotstar, ZEE5, Hoichoi and Viu.
Unlike guides built only for Hollywood, OTTASIA is designed around Asian content first: Bollywood, South Indian cinema, Korean dramas, anime, Turkish series and Pakistani dramas. For viewers living outside their home country, it also surfaces where that content is available on their local services and on diaspora-focused platforms.

What makes the story unusual is how it was built. OTTASIA was created almost entirely with Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding tool, by a solo, non-technical founder, which is what allowed one person to cover so many markets and ship a website plus native iPhone and Android apps in a matter of weeks.
"Across Asia, people open five different apps just to find one show," said Anurag Tyagi, the Chicago-based founder of OTTASIA. "I wanted one simple place that just tells you where to watch, in your own country. I am not an engineer, so I built the entire product with AI, and that is what let one person cover 34 markets."
OTTASIA is free to use, requires no signup to search, and shows no ads in its core experience. It is available now on the web and as free apps for iPhone and Android.
