North Carolina Author Carrie Sybert Celebrates Three Published Books

Independent author launches Morrowink, a creative writing platform designed to help aspiring storytellers bring their ideas to life.
SANFORD, N.C. - Rezul -- North Carolina author and entrepreneur Carrie Sybert is celebrating three published books and the launch of Morrowink, a digital platform designed to help writers turn creative ideas into organized manuscripts.
Her books include A Correspondence Companion, The Cursed Merry-Go-Round, and Sofia's ABC Tour of the Zoo. Together, they explore personal connection, imaginative fiction, and children's learning.
A Family Story Becomes a Book
The Cursed Merry-Go-Round grew from ideas shared by Sybert's young niece, Sofia. Working together, they developed a supernatural adventure about five friends whose journey takes an unexpected turn through time.
Their collaboration continued with Sofia's ABC Tour of the Zoo, an animal-themed alphabet coloring book that encourages creativity and learning.
Sybert also created A Correspondence Companion, a guided journal celebrating handwritten letters, memories, and meaningful relationships.

Introducing Morrowink
Drawing on her publishing experience, Sybert launched Morrowink to support writers from initial inspiration through manuscript development.
The platform offers story outlining, character and setting development, guided prompts, creative challenges, voice-to-text notes, manuscript checks, and export tools.
"Sometimes the hardest part of writing is knowing where to begin or figuring out what comes next," said Sybert. "I wanted to create something that helps people explore their ideas, ask questions they might not have considered, and discover just how much they're capable of creating."
Sybert sees a connection between encouraging her niece's storytelling and helping other writers bring ideas to life.
"There's something special about holding a book in your hands and knowing it began as just an idea," she said. "I want more people to experience that feeling."
All three books are available on Amazon.
