Mosaic Builds Strength within Construction and Technology with the Addition of Balck, Hubbs and Reis

PHOENIX - Rezul -- Three new team members have joined Mosaic, bringing a wealth of seasoned experience to the venture-backed construction technology company.  Scott Balck will serve as Director of Construction Operations. Dave Hubbs will lead the purchasing department as Director of Purchasing and Rodrigo Reis holds the position of Senior Software Engineer.

Scott Balck brings 25 years of experience in construction operations to Mosaic. He most recently served as Senior Engineer Associate for the City of Tempe, responsible for municipal capital improvement projects concurrently managing multiple, moderately complex capital improvement construction projects for different client departments, from inception through project close-out. Projects included new facilities, modifications/alterations to existing facilities, and major renovations while keeping facilities operational for staff and the public. Prior to his involvement with the City of Tempe, he worked for Kitchell Custom Homes, remodelers of multi-million dollar single-family resort homes as Project Superintendent, Gila River Indian Community Department of Public Works as a Civil Engineer, and was a Superintendent for Pulte Homes, Inc. Scott earned a BS in Construction and Masters in Urban and Environmental Planning from Arizona State University.

Dave Hubbs has worked in the homebuilding and construction industry for over 20 years, focusing on contract management and purchasing responsibilities. He will oversee the buying of materials and supplies, quality control of products and negotiating prices with vendors. Most recently he was Director of Purchasing for Dorn Homes, based in Prescott. Previously he was Purchasing Manager for Camelot Homes and Purchasing Agent for DR Horton. Dave holds a BS in Business Administration and Management from Arizona State University.

Mosaic also welcomes Rodrigo Reis as Senior Software Engineer, focusing on growth and acquisition. An award-winning technical leader with 13 years of experience in architecting and building distributed applications in the cloud, he is devoted to building innovative, first of their kind platforms and applications that drive growth across the e-commerce, security and high growth tech industries. He was co-founder and CTO of Arena in the San Francisco Bay Area, offering real-time customer experience and data platforms for global enterprises to build personalized content experiences for over 5M customers in more than 100 countries. Previously he was a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart eCommerce and Software Architect at Agentto. Rodrigo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia in Brazil.
