~ Mesa, AZ - The City of Mesa is making strides in promoting education and understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) through free resources available at the Mesa Public Library. As technology continues to advance, the library is offering residents access to LinkedIn Learning, an online platform that provides self-paced courses in various fields including technology, business, and creative skills.
With over 1,000 AI-related courses available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced adult learners, anyone with a Mesa Public Library card can take advantage of this opportunity. "We want to provide free access to quality training for anyone interested in learning about AI," stated Library Director Polly Bonnett. "This includes adults with a passing interest, entrepreneurs looking to work more efficiently, and job seekers who want to develop high-demand skills to be more competitive in the workforce."

In addition to online resources, the library will also be offering free in-person classes at various branches. These include "No Fear AI: A Simple Introduction for Beginners" at the Red Mountain Library on May 27th and June 23rd from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., as well as "Where is AI in 2026 and Where is it Going?" at the Dobson Ranch Library on June 24th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Obtaining a Mesa Public Library card is easy and free for those who live in Maricopa County for at least 30 consecutive days a year or work, own property or attend school within the county. New members can instantly access online resources with an e-Card or visit any branch with a photo ID to register for a full access card.
