Men Can Talk was started by David Rowe of La Chispa Counselling. The Groups are Free to attend and are a voluntary service by La Chispa Counselling.
After his own battles with physical and mental health, David felt there was a lack of places where Men can meet up and just talk through personal issues or just chat. It's very easy to self-isolate and feel alone, or you do not want to burden friends or family with issues, or they do not have time for a chat and a cup of coffee as everyone lives such busy lives.
There are also Men who are caring for partners at home or have them in a care homes, who need to be able to get out and just chat with other Men and make new friends and have a laugh.
David Rowe the Founder of La Chispa Counselling has been a 12 Step A.U.D. Sponsor for over 9 years, (Alcohol Use Disorder).
