Rezul News/10735079
Long Beach, CA ~ Long Beach, CA - As summer approaches, the City of Long Beach is gearing up to provide a fun and engaging program for children during their school break. The Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine (PRM) will be offering Summer Fun Days at 21 parks throughout the city. This free youth recreation program is open to children ages 5 to 12 and will run from June 15 to August 21.

Registration for Summer Fun Days will begin on June 1 at 9 a.m. and can be done online at lbcity.info/summerfundays. The program offers a variety of activities including sports, games, arts and crafts, and special events. It is a drop-in program, allowing registered participants to come and go as they please.

In order to participate in Summer Fun Days, pre-registration is required. This season, the registration process has been moved online to LB RecConnect instead of in-person at the parks. Residents can easily register by clicking on "Activities" and searching for "Summer Fun." For those who need assistance with registration, their local park can provide support. Additionally, individuals without access to a computer or smartphone can visit any open Long Beach Public Library location for access to a public computer lab.
