Layers of Water By Studio Khora, An Architectural Gem, to be Completed in Late 2022
Rezul News/10546430
Pompano Beach, FL -- Exciting new construction, an architectural gem, to be completed in late 2022 on the most desirable dry lot in Harbor Beach, with over one-third acre of park-like grounds, lush vegetation, and peaceful serenity. A private beach club and marina are reached by a leisurely five-minute stroll from the house.
This contemporary residence, named Layers of Water, is designed by Studio Khora, top Fort Lauderdale architects, named a top 50 U.S. residential coastal architect by the prestigious Ocean Home Magazine.
The dramatic contemporary house, with its roof cantilever, filters the outdoors views while reflecting the natural surroundings in a stunning two-level waterfall. The façade design, with a double-floor glass curtain wall, creates a harmonious scale and balance between interior design and the mature landscaping outside.
Penna, KHORA Senior Designer, says, "The movement of falling water not only refreshes the outdoor temperature but also reflects the extraordinary views of the surrounding landscape and classical architecture, only found at Harbour Beach." The contemporary architectural design, with few and small rear-facing windows, creates privacy yet welcomes the outdoors to all interior rooms. The combination of large and static design elements and passive views enhance contemplation.

On the first floor, a wrap-around pool embraces the master bedroom. As an option, two of the four additional en-suite bedrooms may be used as a home-gym or home-theater. The oversized garage offers generous accommodation for three cars, a golf cart, and a motorcycle. The three-car parking space can be doubled with the addition of car elevators due to the 11-feet, 10-inches ceiling height. The innovative hangar doors provide functional design freedom for the garage and add a high-tech contemporary style element.
