Program to Support Small Businesses Impacted by the January 2025 Wildfires and Provide Capital and Targeted Technical-Assistance Education
LOS ANGELES - Rezul -- LISC LA, in partnership with BMO, has launched the LA Rise & Renew Wildfire Recovery Grant Program to support small businesses impacted by the January 2025 wildfires. The program will deliver rapid capital alongside targeted technical-assistance education to help entrepreneurs stabilize operations, rebuild, and recover.
In 2026, LISC LA will award 15 micro-grants of $5,000 each to small businesses (annual revenue < $2 million) in Pacific Palisades and Altadena that were directly impacted by the January 2025 wildfires.
For the 2026 grant cycle, these 15 awards will:
With $75,000 allocated to direct grants and $25,000 covering outreach, application management, webinar delivery, and individualized technical assistance, LA Rise & Renew ensures that wildfire-impacted entrepreneurs receive both the funds and the know-how needed to recover and rebuild sustainably.
