Juneau: Eaglecrest Ski Area Closed on December 20

Rezul News/10723378
~ Eaglecrest Ski Area, a popular skiing destination in Juneau, Alaska, will be closed on Saturday, December 20th due to a break in the main water line at the Fish Creek Lodge. According to reports, the break occurred at a joint due to age-related failure and was not caused by freezing temperatures.

The safety of staff and guests is the top priority for Eaglecrest Ski Area, and as such, professional crews are actively working to repair the break and restore water service to the lodges. However, due to the size of the break, repairs are expected to take some time.
