Idaho: Gov. Little announces changes in his administration

Boise, Idaho ~ Boise, Idaho - Governor Brad Little has announced several new hires and appointments in his administration, bringing in a diverse group of individuals to serve in key roles.

One of the notable appointments is Lloyd Knight, who will be serving as the Policy Director in the Office of the Governor. With a background in nuclear energy and natural resources, Knight will be responsible for advising the Governor on various policy areas. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously served as Deputy Director at the Idaho State Department of Agriculture and Executive Vice President of the Idaho Cattle Association. Knight holds a bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Idaho.

Another significant appointment is that of Jake Reynolds as the permanent Director at the Office of Information Technology Services (OITS). Reynolds has been serving as Interim Director since July, when former OITS Director Alberto Gonzalez was appointed to lead the Idaho Transportation Department. With a background in sales, recruitment, and agriculture, Reynolds brings a unique perspective to his new role. He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Idaho.

In addition to these appointments, George Gutierrez has been named as Director of the Idaho Industrial Commission. With 38 years of leadership experience in both public and private sectors, Gutierrez is well-equipped to take on this role. He holds a master's degree in psychology from Pepperdine University and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Adina Bielenberg has also been appointed to serve on the Idaho Economic Advisory Council. Currently Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratory (SEL), Bielenberg brings with her extensive experience in marketing and development. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho.

Robert Gilliam and Melinda Croswell have been appointed to serve on the Idaho Commission of Pardons and Parole. Gilliam brings nearly 40 years of law enforcement experience to this role, having served in various positions in Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and California. He has also completed extensive training throughout his career. Croswell retired from the Boise Police Department after 24 years of service and brings a diverse background in law enforcement to the commission. She holds a bachelor's degree in social and behavioral studies from George Fox University.

In addition to these appointments, Janelle White has been named as the Interim Director at the Office of Species, Minerals, and Energy Coordination (OSMEC). White currently serves as the Administrator of the Division of Human Resources and will be taking on this role following the departure of Cally Younger. The state will be advertising for a permanent OSMEC Director in the coming weeks.

Governor Little expressed his gratitude for these individuals who have stepped up to serve their state. "Public service is an honor, and I am grateful to each of these Idahoans for their willingness to serve," he said. "They bring a wealth of experience, talent, and dedication to their positions, and I know they will put the people of Idaho first as they take on these important roles." Little also commended their commitment to making Idaho an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.

With these new hires and appointments, Governor Little's administration is well-equipped to tackle important issues facing Idaho and continue working towards making it a better place for its residents.
