Holder Properties Announces Nowell Creek Village on Daniel Island

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Rezul -- Holder Properties, a full-service service commercial and residential real estate development and investment company, is pleased to announce the development of Nowell Creek Village, a new mixed-use community on Daniel Island.
Nowell Creek Village will be a 36 acre waterfront development bounded by Nowell Creek and Beresford Creek located on Daniel Island, a master-planned community in Charleston, South Carolina. The project is being developed at 2000 Daniel Island Drive, the site of the former Blackbaud World Headquarters. Surrounded by nature, Nowell Creek Village will feature state-of-the-art office space, specialty retail with food & beverage programming, luxury apartment homes, and coastal-inspired single-family homes. Amenities will include locally oriented food options, public parks, access to watersports, recreational activities, fitness and social programming and creek-side docks.
Holder Properties is the master developer of the project. Holder Properties has engaged Sottile & Sottile to assist in the master plan development and the architecture firm Gensler to reimagine the existing office building. The design of the village will be new urbanist in nature, environmentally sensitive and feature sustainable design and modern, efficient infrastructure. Nowell Creek Village will encourage visitor activity by incorporating nature trails and public gathering spaces into the village.

The multifamily phase, Atlantic Daniel Island, is being developed by Charleston based Middle Street Partners, LLC. The 320-unit project is being designed by renowned architect Sotille & Sotille of Savannah, GA and will reflect a "coastal village" aesthetic. The ultra-luxury project will feature a world class fitness studio, onsite co-working space, a true resort style pool & landscaped courtyard, dog park, and detached / direct access garages. Residential units will range in size from 550 SF up to 1,500SF and will be appointed with condo quality interior finishes. Construction is expected to begin in early 2022.
Adam Monroe, Middle Street Partner's Co-Managing Principal, issued the following statement regarding the project: "MSP is proud to be undertaking this project with a first class master developer such as Holder Properties.
