HINCKLEY, Minn. - Rezul -- SOLD! Come down the 1000ft private driveway with mature trees on both sides. What an entrance!
Built in 2018, this beautiful home has an open floor plan with dark walnut-colored accents and Hickory cabinets, easy-to-clean and durable vinyl plank floors are scratch resistant, and the aromas wafting through the cute kitchen thrill the senses.
There is much to appreciate on this 62.65 acre property with wildlife to enjoy and the sunsets are stunning.
The paved Willard Munger state trail abuts the property with groomed trails throughout. This home is only 3.8 miles N of Hinckley making it close to necessities. Get away from it all up-north but being only 1.5 hours South to Minneapolis or 1.5 hours North to Duluth! Nicely done! Presented by Tony Fritch with the Chris Fritch Team eXp Realty 763-772-2720
Imagine, if you will a canopy of white pine trees so thick that the blue sky and sunshine were hard to see. This is what the first settlers saw as they moved into the area around Hinckley.

However, these settlers were not the first to inhabit the area. The Ojibwe Indians had lived near the St. Croix River since the mid 1800's and knew of the abundance of natural wealth the land had to offer.
Because of the large stand of white pine trees in the Hinckley area, loggers migrated here and the first sawmill was built in 1869. In the same year, the Lake Superior and Mississippi Railroad pushed its railroad building operation into Hinckley, and finally into Duluth by 1870.
With the coming of the railroad, the lumber industry boomed and for twenty years, Hinckley was a growing, prosperous town with a population of 1,400.
