Governor Abbott Reappoints Mack, Marino To Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission

~ Governor Greg Abbott has recently announced the reappointment of Hasan Mack and Deborah "Debbie" Gray Marino to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. Their terms are set to expire on November 15, 2031.
Mack, an attorney at McCall, Parkhurst & Horton L.L.P. in Austin, brings a wealth of experience to the commission. He specializes in advising state agencies, political subdivisions, and institutions of higher education on federal and state securities laws related to municipal security transactions. In addition to his legal expertise, Mack has also served on the Texas Bond Review Board and is currently a member of various organizations such as the State Bar of Texas and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
In 2018, Governor Abbott appointed Mack to the Texas Southern University Board of Regents where he most recently served as Chairman. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston and a Juris Doctor from Texas Southern University.

Marino, who hails from San Antonio, is the senior vice president of corporate relations at SWBC. She leads national, state, and local engagement with nonprofit, trade, civic and other corporate industry organizations. Marino is also actively involved in her community as an advisor for various organizations such as the Alamo Leadership Council and Women United of United Way Bexar County.
With a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Texas A&M University under her belt, Marino brings a unique perspective to the commission.
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission plays a crucial role in regulating businesses related to alcoholic beverages in the state. This includes overseeing manufacturing, selling, distributing and more. With their reappointments by Governor Abbott, Mack and Marino will continue to serve on this important commission until 2031.
