~ Governor Greg Abbott has recently appointed Jana Hall to the Texas Commission on Licensing and Regulation, as announced in a press release. Hall's term is set to expire on February 1, 2031, during which she will play a crucial role in regulating the manufactured housing industry in Texas.
The commission serves as the governing body for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which is responsible for overseeing businesses, industries, trades, and occupations regulated by the state. These responsibilities are assigned to the department by the legislature.

Hall brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She is an entrepreneur with previous experience in human resources at American Funds and Fidelity Investments. Additionally, she has served as a trustee for Sweetwater ISD and was a member of the Sweetwater Parent Teacher Organization. She also held a leadership position as a local troop leader for Girl Scouts of America. Hall holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Baylor University.
