GOOBZ'D™ Begins Official Character Rollout With CHOMPZ, Character #001

SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. - Rezul -- Devere & Co. Publishing has begun the official character rollout for GOOBZ'D™, its developing original cross media entertainment property created by Aaron Devere.

The rollout begins with CHOMPZ, Character #001.

Alongside his best friend BUGZ, CHOMPZ serves as one of the two central characters introducing audiences to the GOOBZ'D™ universe.

CHOMPZ is adventurous, impulsive and fiercely loyal. He has a habit of moving first and figuring out the rest along the way.

BUGZ tends to ask the questions.

CHOMPZ tends to hear those questions as encouragement.

Their contrasting personalities create a friendship at the heart of GOOBZ'D™, with one asking the question while the other is already halfway into the adventure.

The Collectible Is the Character

GOOBZ'D™ is being developed with storytelling and collectible design connected from the beginning.

CHOMPZ's oversized eyes, translucent purple cosmic appearance, bright green spikes and recognizable silhouette carry across his animated and collectible designs.

The collectible is the character.

"We want someone to see CHOMPZ on screen and immediately recognize the character they have in their hands," said creator Aaron Devere. "The collectible shouldn't feel like a separate version of the character. It should feel like CHOMPZ came directly out of the world."

Character #001 of 12

CHOMPZ is Character #001 in the initial GOOBZ'D™ lineup of 12 core characters.

Rather than revealing the entire cast at once, characters will be introduced individually, allowing audiences to discover their personalities, friendships and roles within the larger universe over time.

For now, the remaining characters and much of the GOOBZ'D™ world remain under wraps.
