ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Rezul -- Assembly Member George Martinez has secured re-election to represent East Anchorage's District 5, Seat I, earning a decisive majority in Tuesday's municipal election and expanding his margin of victory from his 2023 run.
With over 56% of the vote, Martinez's victory reflects strong, sustained support across East Anchorage and a clear endorsement of his leadership and record of results.
"I am honored and deeply grateful for the trust the residents of East Anchorage have placed in me," Martinez said. "This victory belongs to our community, to the neighbors, volunteers, and supporters who believed in the work and showed what's possible when we come together."
