Florida: Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Carol Craig to the Canaveral Port Authority Board of Commissioners

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ~ TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In a recent announcement, Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed Carol Craig to the Canaveral Port Authority Board of Commissioners. Craig, who is the Founder and CEO of Sidus Space and Craig Technologies, brings a wealth of experience to the position.

With a background in the United States Navy as a Naval Flight Officer, Craig has served her country with distinction. She is also an active member of various organizations such as the National Defense Industrial Association and the Florida Institute of Technology College of Engineering Advisory Board.

Craig's involvement in her community is evident through her previous role as a member of the CareerSource Brevard Board of Directors and the Florida Chamber Small Business Council. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Knox College, as well as a bachelor's degree in computer science engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, she has a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and is currently pursuing her MBA at the Florida Institute of Technology.
