"We are beyond excited to celebrate this milestone with our community," said David Brown, LCSW, President and co-founder of Family Initiative. "Thrive Academy is just the beginning of a much larger project. Our vision is to create the Family Initiative Regional Autism Hub—a space that will encompass Thrive Academy, a special needs shelter, an autism support center, and assisted living facilities, all located on the same 4.5-acre property."

The 4.5-acre campus, which includes three buildings totaling 20,000 square feet, was acquired through a $5 million grant awarded to Family Initiative. An additional $250,000 grant from the Golisano Foundation has provided further support for the academy's development.
