BOWIE, Md. - Rezul -- A native of the Commonwealth of Dominica has been honored in the United States for more than three decades of legal service, civic engagement, and Caribbean-American leadership.
Gabriel J. Christian, Esq., Managing Attorney of the Law Offices of Gabriel J. Christian & Associates, LLC, has received the Judge James Taylor Award for Distinguished Service from the Prince George's County Bar Association, recognizing sustained contributions to the courts, public education, and community development.
Christian, originally from Dominica, currently serves on Maryland Governor Wes Moore's Caribbean Affairs Committee, where he contributes to initiatives focused on workforce development, educational access, and civic engagement within Caribbean diaspora communities.
Throughout his 34-year legal career, Christian has consistently worked at the intersection of law and public life. His service includes:
