Columbia Police respond to shots fired on Alan Lane

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police responded to a shots-fired call on the evening of January 29th at the 4500 block of Alan Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim with minor injuries in the 3900 block of Clark Lane. Further investigation led them to a second victim with life-threatening injuries at the 1700 block of North Ballenger Lane. Both victims were immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Columbia Police Department is currently investigating all three crime scenes and has not yet taken anyone into custody. This is an ongoing investigation and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact them at 573.874.7652.
