Columbia: Community members invited to presentation on City's CARE program

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia, MO - The City of Columbia is set to hold a Community Classroom session on Wednesday, Jan. 21 to educate the public about the City's Career Awareness Related Experience (CARE) Program. The session will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in Conference Rooms 1A/1B at City Hall, located at 701 E. Broadway.
The CARE Program, which is managed by the Parks and Recreation department, aims to provide valuable work experience for 14- to 20-year-olds by placing them in local businesses and paying them for their work. Applications for the program are open from Jan. 1 through March 8.

Members of the public are welcome to attend any open meeting related to this program.
