Colorado Springs: Traffic change coming to US Highway 24, Peterson Road intersection on Monday

~ As part of an ongoing safety improvement project, the slip exit lane from northbound Peterson Road to eastbound Space Village Avenue will be permanently closed starting Monday, Feb. 23. This change will require drivers to use the signalized intersection for an eastbound turn during construction.

To accommodate travelers, the northbound lanes from Peterson Space Force Base North Gate to Space Village Avenue will be open alternately. This arrangement is expected to last until Friday, Feb. 27. Drivers are advised to stay updated on the latest information by monitoring local traffic signs.
