AURORA ~ AURORA - Governor Polis joined in the festivities of Mile High Asian Food Week today, marking the beginning of a week-long celebration of the vibrant Asian food scene in Colorado. The event, which will run from April 26 to May 3, 2026, aims to showcase the diverse and delicious offerings of local restaurants and chefs.

With participants from across the Front Range, including cities like Colorado Springs, Denver, and Longmont, Mile High Asian Food Week promises to be a treat for food lovers. Governor Polis expressed his excitement for the event, stating that Colorado's restaurant scene offers a wide range of delectable dishes from around the world.

During his visit to Dân Dã Vietnamese, a locally owned and operated restaurant known for its Chef An Nguyen's culinary expertise, Governor Polis sampled some of their signature dishes. Chef Nguyen was recently voted as Chef of the Year by the Colorado Restaurant Association.
