BRICK, N.J. - Rezul -- Brick Family Seeks Community Support as Beloved Boxer Battles Severe Kidney Crisis

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township family is asking the community to keep their beloved 4-year-old Boxer, Kimber, in their thoughts as she undergoes emergency treatment for a severe kidney crisis.

Kimber, lovingly known by her family as "our little baby," became suddenly ill and was rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital. Bloodwork revealed critically elevated kidney values, including a creatinine of 10.6, a BUN greater than 130, and a phosphorus level of 16.1.

She is currently receiving around-the-clock IV fluids, medications, and intensive monitoring while her veterinary team watches closely over the next several days to see how her kidneys respond to treatment.

"We've always called Kimber our little baby," said her owners, Natalie &.Philip Zingg "She's only four years old and has brought so much joy and unconditional love to our family. We're doing everything we can to give her every chance."

The family has committed to approximately $8,000 in emergency veterinary care while hoping Kimber responds to treatment.
