A 90-minute podcast episode drops from $13.50 to $6, saving 56%. Two-hour recordings see the maximum savings, falling from $18 to $6—a 67% cost reduction.

The pricing change follows infrastructure improvements that reduced operational costs while increasing transcription quality. BrassTranscripts processes audio using WhisperX large-v3 for speech recognition and Pyannote 3.1 for automatic speaker identification. Recent optimizations to the processing pipeline enabled faster turnaround and lower per-file costs, which the company is passing directly to customers.
