Amplify Brands Files Patent- for "Parcel" a Trust Layer Letting AI Agents Act on Real Estate Und
Rezul News/10737955
Provisional patent covers verifiable AI-agent identity, single-use human-approved mandates, and governed agent-to-agent negotiation for property transactions
MONCTON, New Brunswick - Rezul -- Amplify Brands Inc. today announced it has filed a U.S. provisional patent application for Parcel, infrastructure that lets AI agents discover, verify, and transact on real property — with human approval required before any stakes-bearing action. The filing (U.S. Provisional Application No. 64/090,581) establishes patent-pending status for a system that gives AI agents a verifiable identity, puts a human cryptographic "yes" in front of every consequential move, and records every step to an immutable audit trail.
As banks and networks race to let AI agents pay — Mastercard Agent Pay, Visa Intelligent Commerce, Google's Agent Payments Protocol, and Coinbase's x402 are all building open payment rails — a gap remains above the payment layer: who is this agent, what are they allowed to do, who approved it, and what happened? Parcel is designed to answer exactly those questions for real estate, the largest asset class most people will ever transact.

"Everyone is wiring up how an AI agent pays. Almost no one is solving who the agent is, what a human actually authorized it to do, and how two agents negotiate without anyone getting defrauded," said Jeffery Hughes, founder of Amplify Brands and inventor of Parcel. "Parcel treats every agent action on a property as one signed event — a verified identity, a single-use human-approved mandate, and a permanent record. It's the trust layer that sits above the payment rails, not in competition with them."
How Parcel works
The system expresses every interaction as one signed event combining three elements:
Routine reads happen autonomously. Anything that touches another party or moves money — a showing request, an offer, a signature — requires a Mandate: a single-use, time-limited token a human must cryptographically approve, good for exactly one action on exactly one property. Negotiations between agents run through a structured state machine where every step is verified and logged.

How Parcel works
The system expresses every interaction as one signed event combining three elements:
- Parcel — a specific property, keyed by its Assessor's Parcel Number (APN).
- Passport — a short-lived, scoped, verifiable credential proving an AI agent's identity and exactly what it is permitted to do.
- Dossier — a shared, versioned record of every action and data point tied to the property.
