83bar, the Patient Activation company, expands business development team

AUSTIN, Texas - Rezul -- 83bar Inc., the Patient Activation company, expands its business development team with the addition of five new executives, and the promotion of the department lead.

"We are preparing the company for continued growth in 2021. We are making substantial investments in sales, marketing, and delivery to broaden and diversify our client base across pharma and clinical trial recruitment," says Bob Baurys, CEO.

Last year, 83bar was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies by industry publication, MM&M. Baurys added, "This expansion of business development is a strong signal that we plan to retain our 'fastest growth' company status for the next few years."

In conjunction with the hiring of new staff, Paul Egli has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

New team members are:

• Eric Marr, Chief Revenue Officer – Eric brings a strong background in medical start-ups, digital health (EMRs, telehealth, medical imaging), and healthcare innovation. He was CEO and partner of MyMedPix247.
• Darrin Thomas, VP Diagnostic Market – Darrin joins after more than 20 years of creating, launching, innovating, and growing diagnostic companies. He is a founding board member of Discover Diagnostic Laboratory and West Forest Medical.
• Kevin Harkey, VP Business Development – Kevin comes from healthcare recruiting and staffing, with networks of clinics, physicians, and advanced practitioners. He has worked with Frank Recruitment Group, BlueForce Healthcare, and Integrity Locums.
• Leif Evers, VP Sales – Leif is a former medical device sales manager with accomplishments in territory management, account development, team building, and consultative sales. He joins from Stryker Orthopedics.
• Jared Stroman, VP Sales – Jared will contribute his demonstrated success in digital marketing and advertising, with skills in sales, account management, lead generation, and direct marketing. He joins from Mspark Corp.
