Yonkers: YONKERS MAYOR SPANO LAUNCHES 'MAYOR MIKE'S MONDAY BOOST'

YONKERS, NY ~ Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano has launched a new initiative called "Mayor Mike's Monday Boost" in an effort to spread positivity and motivation throughout the community. The program, which was announced on November 17, 2025, will feature uplifting messages every Monday on the city's social media platforms and on the YonkersTRON digital billboard located above the Government Center Garage.

According to Mayor Spano, the idea for this initiative came from numerous constituents expressing their desire for more good news. He believes that these motivational messages will inspire and encourage residents to keep moving forward in a positive direction. "A little motivation can go a long way," said Mayor Spano, "and I'm proud to bring that energy to our residents every week."
