Westport CT Author Launches Third Book in Bedtime Travel Series, Whisking Kids Off to Tokyo

WESTPORT, Conn. - Rezul -- Westport author Nicole O'Connor has released Kiera & Lamby: Tokyo, the third installment in her picture book series that follows a young girl and her stuffed lamb on magic blanket adventures around the world. The book is available now on Amazon and through the author's website.

The Kiera & Lamby series began as bedtime stories O'Connor told her daughter during the pandemic, inspired by her own love of travel. In each book, Kiera and Lamby drift off to sleep and wake up in a new city—New York City, Madrid, and now, Tokyo. They explore landmarks, try new foods, and soak in the local culture, all through a lens playful and accessible enough for young readers. The series has earned Readers' Favorite 5-star recognition, and Kiera & Lamby: New York City was awarded a Purple Dragonfly Honorable Mention.

"I wrote these stories to remind kids that wonder doesn't only live on a screen—it's out there in the world, waiting to be discovered," said O'Connor. "Tokyo felt like such a natural next stop for Kiera and Lamby.
