The weekend kicks off on Friday, August 8 with a powerful Content Creation & Mental Health Panel at The Gathering Spot ATL (384 Northyards Blvd NW), from 7 PM to 11 PM. The panel will feature digital influencers, therapists, podcast hosts, and marketing experts addressing burnout, identity in the digital age, and the pressures of monetization in creative careers. Immediately following is a live taping of "In The Kitchen with DJ Waffles," an interactive culinary-media experience featuring celebrity guests, storytelling, and Southern-inspired dishes - all filmed live in front of an audience.

This family-friendly event brings together local influencers, athletes, artists, and public figures for a competitive yet community-driven game, complete with DJ sets, vendor pop-ups, giveaways, and a dynamic halftime performance featuring rising artists.

That evening, the celebration continues on the historic grounds of Morris Brown College with the Waffles Weekend Silent Party, running from 7 PM to 11 PM. Guests will receive glow-in-the-dark headphones with access to three live DJ channels, offering sounds from Afrobeats and Trap to R&B, House, and more. Live performances and surprise appearances will enhance the immersive nighttime experience, transforming the yard into a vibrant blend of movement, sound, and culture.
