VANCOUVER, Wash. - Rezul -- In a highly competitive genre, "DESPITE ME," written by VANCOUVER resident, JOHN EDWARDS, has been nominated for a 2021 Author Elite Award, an honor bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry.

EDWARDS' book is up for an award in the SELF-HELP category, which guides the reader through the life of its character, Jake, and how he overcame his self-limiting beliefs, skewed world-views, scarcity and victim unconscious programming, and feelings of unworthiness.

Entries are being reviewed and evaluated on popular vote, social contribution, and overall presentation (cover, content, flow, and originality) by the Elite's voting membership comprised of best-selling authors, literary agents, and industry leaders.
