Update: Columbia Police arrest woman for vehicle crashes on Stevendave Drive, Murrell Drive

(COLUMBIA, MO) ~ Columbia Police have arrested 29-year-old Cassandra Albright of Kingdom City following a series of vehicle crashes that occurred on April 3. The incidents took place on Stevendave Drive and Murrell Drive, resulting in Albright facing multiple charges.
According to police reports, officers responded to multiple calls about a disturbance in the 4500 block of Stevendave Drive at around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered that a vehicle driven by Albright had crashed into a residence occupied by four children and two adults.
Further investigation revealed that Albright had fled the scene and subsequently crashed her vehicle into a trailer and fence in the 2200 block of Murrell Drive. She then allegedly accelerated aggressively towards two juvenile pedestrians in the area before crashing into a tree on Waterloo Drive.
Albright sustained injuries from the crashes and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. She has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault, special victim; leaving the scene of an accident; and driving while intoxicated.

Missouri statutes state that first-degree assault, special victim (565.050), leaving the scene of an accident (577.060), and driving while intoxicated (577.010) are all serious offenses punishable by law.
