NORTH MIAMI, Fla. - Rezul -- Miami, FL — Israeli chef Raz Shabtai has earned a Michelin star for his Miami restaurant, Mutra marking the first time a kosher restaurant has received the honor anywhere in the world.
The milestone signals a shift in global fine dining, proving that strict kosher standards can coexist with world-class gastronomy.
According to the Michelin Guide, Mutra delivers a bold, modern, hospitality-forward take on Middle Eastern cuisine, built around a seasonal, ever-changing menu and an intimate chef's counter experience. Standout dishes include beetroot with ajo blanco, a signature lamb kebab with smoked aubergine, and a richly spiced Tunisian-style chicken, with classic muhallebi rounding out the meal.
