The Fertility Class Announces Medical and Scientific Advisory Board
Rezul News/10749746
OB-GYN and reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Katherine VanHise and reproductive epidemiologist Dr. Carmen Messerlian join as Medical and Scientific Advisors.
NEW YORK - Rezul -- The Fertility Class, an online movement program developed specifically for reproductive health and fertility, today announced the formation of its Medical and Scientific Advisory Board. Reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Katherine VanHise joins as Medical Advisor, and reproductive epidemiologist Dr. Carmen Messerlian joins as Scientific Advisor.
The appointments bring clinical and scientific expertise to an often-overlooked area of women's health: movement throughout the reproductive journey.
"We built The Fertility Class because movement has an important place in women's health, yet very little programming has been created specifically for reproductive health and fertility," said co-founders Zsofia Jamieson and Marta Han. "Carmen and Katherine bring complementary perspectives that will help shape our work."

Dr. VanHise will review program content and advise on specialized movement programming for cycle health and fertility, including adaptations for fertility treatment.
"My patients often ask how to adapt their exercise routines while trying to conceive, undergoing fertility treatment such as egg freezing, IUI or IVF, and during early pregnancy. They want to know what's safe and what types of movement can best support them. I'm excited to bring my perspective as an OB-GYN and reproductive endocrinologist to this work," said Dr. VanHise.
Dr. Messerlian will guide the program's scientific development and explore research opportunities related to movement and reproductive health.
"Movement is an important and often overlooked part of reproductive health. What I value about The Fertility Class is its commitment to bringing this perspective into women's everyday lives," said Dr. Messerlian.
Dr. VanHise completed her OB-GYN residency and reproductive endocrinology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Her research includes PCOS, reproductive immunology and fertility preservation, and she has published in Fertility and Sterility.
