The Beauty Briefing Names Gina Bordeaux Editor in Chief
Rezul News/10744129
Bordeaux initially joined the publication to guide strategic website changes before her vision for a clearer, shopper-first beauty publication led to an expanded leadership role.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Rezul -- The Beauty Briefing has named Gina Bordeaux its new Editor in Chief, expanding a role that began with a focused assignment to help guide strategic changes to TheBeautyBriefing.com.
Bordeaux was initially brought in to assess the website and recommend changes to its positioning, content strategy, and reader experience. As that work developed, her vision extended beyond a website update into a broader editorial direction for the publication.
"We originally asked Gina to help us make strategic improvements to the website," the publication's ownership said. "What impressed us was that she saw something much bigger. Her vision gave The Beauty Briefing a clearer purpose, stronger editorial structure, and a much more distinctive reason to exist."
As Editor in Chief, Bordeaux will oversee the publication's editorial direction, standards, product-evaluation strategy, and development of its shopper-focused beauty coverage.

That direction centers on a simple principle: Every beauty product should earn its place.
Under the publication's evolving editorial model, product coverage is designed to help shoppers understand not only what a product claims to do, but whether its formula, evidence, expected performance, shopper fit, and value justify the purchase.
"My goal is for The Beauty Briefing to be the place you visit before you buy," Bordeaux said. "Beauty shoppers deserve clear answers without hype, fear-based ingredient messaging, or recommendations shaped around what is easiest to sell."
The appointment comes as The Beauty Briefing continues building its Worth It and Skip It product Verdicts, BeautyBrief™ summaries, ingredient library, educational guides, and independent beauty news coverage.
