Tejjy Inc. Adds NavVis VLX 3 to Its Reality Capture Arsenal
Rezul News/10747716
NavVis VLX 3 expands Tejjy's reality capture toolkit for renovation, facility planning and BIM documentation.
ROCKVILLE, Md. - Rezul -- ROCKVILLE, Md.- Tejjy Inc. has added the NavVis VLX 3 to its reality capture arsenal, strengthening its ability to document large, complex environments. The wearable mobile mapping system expands the firm's equipment options for capturing existing conditions and converting field data into useful project information.
The investment addresses a recurring challenge in renovation and facility planning: obtaining comprehensive site documentation within limited access windows. University buildings, commercial properties and industrial facilities can span multiple floors and connected spaces. Documenting these environments requires a capture strategy that accounts for both project requirements and activity on site.
The NavVis VLX 3 captures spatial data while an operator walks through the facility. Dual LiDAR sensors record visible geometry, while integrated cameras capture panoramic imagery. Live scanning feedback helps the operator monitor coverage during the walkthrough.

For Tejjy's clients, this adds flexibility to the documentation process. Mobile scanning can accelerate coverage across extensive accessible areas. The resulting point clouds and imagery provide a reference for assessing spatial constraints, developing renovation models and reviewing existing layouts. Architects, engineers, contractors and facility managers can use this information to investigate conditions before committing to design or construction decisions.
The VLX 3 complements the terrestrial scanners and surveying equipment in Tejjy's digital reality capture technologies arsenal (https://www.tejjy.com/digital-reality-capture-technologies/). Having multiple capture methods allows the team to select equipment according to the environment, required accuracy and intended use of the data.
Tejjy brings experience in 3D laser scanning, point cloud interpretation and Scan-to-BIM to that selection. Its work connects field capture with as-built drawings, architectural models and building-system documentation. That expertise guides what is captured, how the data is checked and which details must be represented in the final deliverable.
