Tambayan: A Free Online Community House for Filipinos Worldwide, Born in Milton, Canada

MILTON, Ontario - Rezul -- Tambayan (https://tambayan.app), a free online community house built for Filipinos wherever in the world they live, is open — and everything inside it is free. Built by Jeremy Ortega, a Filipino bookkeeper in Milton, Ontario (founder of JCO Bookkeeping), Tambayan gathers in one house what overseas and hometown Filipinos look for in many places: a music studio and videoke room, films, a radio station (Tambayan Radio) and podcast, a faith community, an Academy with free bookkeeping lessons, and community boards where kababayan from the same hometowns can meet. Its sister house, OpenHouse (https://theopenhouse.world), welcomes the worldwide English-speaking audience. "Every possibility lives here — even the impossible," is the house's tagline — and its rule: real people, no fees inside, and a door for every hometown.
